SquareRisk brings access to specialty markets for seamless quoting in Applied Systems' Tarmika

SquareRisk, a digital wholesaler offering one-stop access to a wide range of specialty MGAs, today announced that they are partnering with Tarmika to provide coverage through their single-entry online quoting platform. The partnership will provide independent agents new access to broad appetite, supporting over 400 class codes nationwide, covering standard operations as well as difficult-to-place industries like cannabis, bars & taverns, and high-risk transportation.

"Our goal is to empower agents and small business owners by making specialty insurance simple and hassle-free," said SquareRisk CEO and founder, Monesh Jain. "Specialty insurance distribution is complex, but it doesn't need to be. Small businesses operate at a fast pace, and they need insurance solutions that keep up. Our partnership with Tarmika ensures agents can quickly access specialty markets without friction."

Tarmika is a single-entry commercial lines quoting application that enables agencies to simultaneously quote multiple small commercial markets, through their Direct and Market Access carrier appointments. By enabling agents to collect and store data, find in-appetite markets, quote and submit to multiple insurers or MGAs in a single workflow, agents create a simpler, more connected commercial lines quoting experience that improves productivity and speed to market.

“As specialty markets aren’t as broadly accessible traditionally and take more time for agents to find and quote, we believe expanding our platform of carriers and MGAs to enable access to these markets is critical as we continue to connect the end-to-end policy lifecycle,” said Anupam Gupta, chief product officer, Applied Systems. “We are excited to partner with SquareRisk as we create greater accessibility to markets and reduce friction throughout the commercial lines process.”
